Paul Mann serves as CEO at Lone Cypress Technology, though his role extends far beyond the traditional executive suite.

With 30 years of IT industry experience spanning every aspect of the business, Paul splits his time between help desk operations, project management, sales, client relations, and vCIO responsibilities. He describes his actual job title as "Yes I Got It" (YIGI), a philosophy that captures his hands-on approach to leadership and unwavering commitment to solving whatever challenges come through the door. Paul is responsible for every aspect of LCT's operations with the exception of payroll and invoicing, ensuring the company delivers on its promise to be truly exceptional with every client interaction.

Paul's journey with the company began before it was called Lone Cypress Technology back in 1997, and since then, he has built a company culture centered on trust, relationships, and practical problem-solving. His leadership philosophy is straightforward: "I enjoy solving problems that most people never want to think about. It's rewarding to make chaos look seamless." This perspective has shaped LCT's approach to IT services, transforming what could be overwhelming technical complexity into reliable, worry-free operations for clients. Paul's extensive background includes serving on the board of Better Business Executive at the University of Texas San Antonio, where he helped launch entrepreneurs, and leading the local Entrepreneur Organization chapter as Learning Chair (earning a global award) and President. His commitment to community extends to his work on the board of San Antonio Pets Alive, reflecting LCT’s values of giving back and supporting mission-driven organizations.

What sets Paul apart in the technology space is his unique combination of deep technical expertise and genuine empathy for the people he serves. With certifications spanning Microsoft, Cisco, cybersecurity, and SonicWall, plus experience in every facet of IT operations, Paul brings comprehensive knowledge to complex challenges. But what truly distinguishes his leadership is his "refuse to lose" mentality paired with genuine joy in helping others succeed. He doesn't just understand technology; he understands the human side of IT, recognizing that behind every technical issue is a person trying to run their business effectively. This empathy-driven approach ensures LCT's solutions address not just the technical problem, but the business impact and client peace of mind.

Paul particularly enjoys working with clients who value trust and relationships above transactional interactions. He specializes in serving organizations that understand what it takes to solve complex IT challenges and appreciate the partnership required to maintain secure, reliable technology infrastructure. What Paul enjoys most about LCT is "the freedom I have to solve problems," an autonomy that allows him to apply his three decades of experience creatively and effectively while maintaining the responsive, personalized service clients depend on. This freedom to act decisively has been instrumental in building LCT's reputation for delivering what they promise, no matter the challenge.

Outside the office, Paul is an adventurer who brings the same fearless problem-solving approach to his personal pursuits. He travels the world extensively, spending at least a month overseas each year exploring new cultures and experiences. Paul is a passionate scuba diver and accomplished skydiver with over 2,000 jumps to his name, plus approximately 100 BASE jumps, including spectacular leaps in Switzerland. At home, Paul shares his space with at least three dogs and a cat, bringing the same care and commitment to his furry family that he extends to LCT's clients and team every day.

Paul's 30 years of hands-on experience across every aspect of IT operations provides LCT with leadership that understands both the technical details and the big-picture business implications of technology decisions. His board experience with entrepreneurial and community organizations brings strategic thinking and a commitment to helping businesses grow that extends beyond just managing their IT infrastructure. With a "refuse to lose" mentality and genuine empathy for clients, Paul ensures LCT approaches every challenge with determination and understanding, making technology work for people rather than overwhelming them.

"I enjoy solving problems that most people never want to think about. It's rewarding to make chaos look seamless."
